Customs & Border Control (CBC) confirms that a tense situation arose this evening with the migrants at the CBC Detention Center. CBC is working with their partner agencies, including Royal Cayman Islands Police Service (RCIPS), Her Majesty's Cayman Islands Prison Service (HMCIPS) and Public Health to defuse the situation. Further updates will be issued as they become available.
