Approved seafood from all countries may be imported into the Cayman Islands. A Certificate of Wholesomeness must accompany quantities in excess of twenty (20) pounds. All seafood of any quantity, from Central America, South Americas and Cuba must be obtained from an approved processing plant and accompanied by a Certificate of Wholesomeness from the Competent Government Authority of the country of origin. Intended importation of seafood in excess of twenty (20) pounds from Central and South Americas and Cuba would require prior application for an Import Permit from the Cayman Islands Department of Agriculture.
